About Us
We are an acoustic quartet from Cambridge, MA. After gathering to jam weekly for a few months in our 2021 COVID bubble, we were asked to play a gig on the outdoor deck of the Phoenix Landing on Mass Avenue in Central Square in Cambridge. That gig led to a weekly engagement and the Mass Avenaires were born.
We add our own twist to a wide variety of traditional tunes, standards, and more contemporary songs from the likes Bob Dylan, Chuck Berry, Warren Zevon, and Merle Haggard.
